What is the Bible?

Do you have a teachable heart? What does David’s willingness to be instructed by God’s law say about him?

Read Psalm 25:4-5. Notice a theme with David?

A thousand years after King David lived, Paul quoted God on David’s character, “I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.” (Acts 13:22)

Read Psalm 78:70-72:
70 He chose David his servant
    and took him from the sheep pens;
71 from tending the sheep he brought him
    to be the shepherd of his people Jacob,
    of Israel his inheritance.
72 And David shepherded them with integrity of heart;
    with skillful hands he led them.

How would be cultivate hearts like David’s?
