This new music collection from the Jasper String Quartet features the composers Caroline Shaw, Missy Mazzoli, David Lang, Donnacha Dennehy, and Ted Hearne. Ultimately the cover design come from a photo one of the Jaspers took on their cell phones. We live in a world where that can be enough — the energy was right and it has the sense of something to be discovered. Just as the album does.
